Editor of the publishing house Olga Petrovna Tumanova, who simply loves to read crime novels, is retiring. Soon, her neighbor, businessman Igor Korzun, was found murdered in her apartment. Olga Petrovna is invited as a witness, but seeing that the official investigation is reaching a dead end, she simply cannot stay away from the investigation.
