This is a travel movie. The heroes of the film go around the most interesting corners of old Moscow: the Simonov Monastery, the Novospassky Convent and the Krutitsy Compound, located on the picturesque banks of the Moskva River. With the help of Hieromonk Ilya, Father Vladimir and other clergy, the world of ancient Moscow shrines opens up before pilgrims and spectators: the tomb of the Romanov boyars, the Cathedral of the Transfiguration of the Lord, recently liberated from KGB services, the graves of the heroes of the Battle of Kulikovo, the monks Oslyabi and Peresvet.
