After Laila gets involved in an illicit relationship with Hamdi, he evades her and travels abroad, leaving her alone. Laila seeks refuge in the palace of Anis, a wealthy man who suffers from his gambling-addicted wife. Laila takes care of his daughter, so Anis falls in love with her and marries her. However, the shock occurs when Anis's brother returns from his trip, and he is Hamdi, who betrayed Laila.
