A Cruzada
Opis filmu
Opis oryginalny: portugalski
The setting is Leblon, in the south of Rio de Janeiro, the most expensive square meter in the country. Right there, between the sea and the Lagoa, ten old seven-story buildings clash with the landscape. From the windows of the small conjugated apartments, more than seven thousand residents spy on a reality that seems to be another world. Those who live in the Cruzada community share the neighborhood with those who have a lot of money, but they themselves have little or nothing. The documentary brings moving stories of struggle, overcoming, but also lightness in the face of so many adversities. “The Crusade” is a portrait of social inequality. A community nestled right in the middle of the richest region in the country, divided by just a wall from one of the most expensive malls in Rio.
