Maria Eduarda is six years old. She was playing in her house when she suffered a scorpion sting. Iracema, her mother, began a desperate search for a boat that would take her daughter to the nearest hospital in the center of Belém. Maria was between life and death. Upon arriving at the hospital and seeing an image of Nossa Senhora de Nazaré, Iracema makes a promise to save her daughter's life. With the girl's recovery, Iracema sets out on a journey to fulfill her promise.
