Stefan, son of a single and overly affectionate mother, decides on his 18th birthday to move house and organize his own life. For the apprentice bricklayer, this project is more difficult than expected. The owner of a furnished room, the receptionist of a bar, tries to rip you off. The girls he meets have their own expectations that don't necessarily match his ambitions. The elegant Cecilia lets him sleep in her shared flat for one night, but otherwise she is not interested in him, while the postman Christel wants to take him in immediately for a life based on the motto "sweet home, only happiness. ". But first Stefan has to come to terms with himself.
