Adil and Bilel had never heard of Notre-Dame des Landes before accepting the idea of spending a short stay there. Originally from Grigny in the Paris suburbs, they discovered on the Zad a concept of living together that was completely foreign to them, and led them to question their relationship to society and political commitment.
