On the Sicilian shore of the Strait of Messina the sea, in its being a border line, dominates, as if it took over the passage of time and the fate of those who overlook it. While the winter months are lived waiting for the summer season, Michele and Antonio repair their felucca in anticipation of fishing for swordfish and Pippo weaves the pots that will be lowered into the strait from May to September.
