It shows a tour by singer-songwriter Gilberto Gil that started in Porto Alegre, passing through Salvador to Belém, telling at the same time the story of a communication teacher, Jairo who is assigned the task of discovering "the secret of mass communication". Accompanying Gil's tour, Jairo meets and falls in love with Su, a fan of the singer.
