CRUDE: Wentworth Community vs Big Oil
Opis filmu
Opis oryginalny: angielski
This documentary details the shocking knock-on impact of air pollution caused by Big Oil in the South African township Wentworth – including chronic poverty, gender-based violence and epigenetic changes which make community members prone to certain illnesses. It is a sobering reminder of the destruction the fossil fuels industry has already wrecked in Africa - as the continent faces another neocolonial scramble for its resources.
