Dans les pas du mammouth géant
Opis filmu
Opis oryginalny: francuski
The Durfort mammoth has been the star of the paleontology gallery since it entered the collections of the National Museum of Natural History in 1898. While the monumental skeleton must be dismantled to be restored, paleontologists are trying to uncover the last secrets of the colossus discovered in a small village at the gates of the Cévennes. In excavations, at the site of the discovery, in the analysis laboratories or in the heart of the reserves, the scientists track down the clues and reconstruct the odyssey of the southern mammoth, a little-known primitive species which would have lived in the south of France il 2 million years ago.
