Cassie, a 20s girl, finds her date through an application in her phone. The app suddenly pops out a notification that shows a nearby date. A guy named James, also in his mid 20s appears on Cassie's screen. The two agreed on a meetup date on James's apartment. While the two are making out in the room, James suddenly interrupts Cassie. He asked her if she believes in aswang, for James is quite obsessed with supernatural creatures and cultic rituals. Cassie responds that she doesn't believe, and wants James to continue their romantic moment. James suddenly hit Cassie with a bottle in the head, making her unconscious. While Cassie became conscious, her body was tied and is lying on a ritual circle surrounded with candles. James suddenly came in holding a knife and slashes her with a hideous laugh
