Smitten by a cruel and incurable disease, Katerina, the otherwise lively but spoiled daughter of an affluent architect, seeks refuge in ephemeral romantic liaisons. However, even though many ambitious young suitors would love to claim her impenetrable heart, none has managed, so far, to decipher Katerina's inexplicable behaviour, or her ulterior motives. Then, the handsome engineer, Stefanos, takes the heartless diva by surprise, offering her a new lease of life. Could he be the one? Will fate spare Katerina, now that she thirsts for life?
