Elizabeth Montgomery A Bewitched Life

It is remarkable how Bewitched continues to resonate. While on the surface it was a "high-concept" sitcom about a housewife with magical powers, it endured because it tapped into the shifting social dynamics of the 1960s. At the heart of that success was Elizabeth Montgomery. She didn't just play Samantha Stephens; she shaped the character into a symbol of quiet strength and independence.
