The story is set in the city of Oruro, during the Carnival festivities. Gaude, a young Argentine musician, receives a letter from a sick Bolivian friend. In the arid landscape and semi-empty streets of Oruro, he meets his burial. There he is received by Rosa, his beautiful and flirtatious sister, and other local characters who live his personal pursuits. Rosa is looking for love. Raymi, the ugly man in town, wants to get to Rosa whom he secretly loves. Miguel, shielding his emotions behind a video camera, wishes for a child. Carmen, an intelligent and passionate architect, repressed by her husband, arrives to free herself in dance. Beto, the child laborer in the cemetery, struggles to earn a living and learn music. The carnival transforms the life of the city. For 24 hours, the protagonists live the intensity of their feelings. Music and dance unite the characters, their dreams, their fears and desires, Everything, under the rhythm of the authentic Orureño comparsas and bands.
