Eric Sigfrid Persson was one of Sweden's foremost builders and designers. His innovative functionalist residential areas still characterize his hometown of Malmö. He was also the father of the now world-famous designer Signe Persson Melin and her little brother, Sven Erik "Eke" Persson, inventor and entrepreneur. The siblings' relationship is still strongly influenced by the relationship with the dominant and stubborn father.
