Even before forensic doctor Ruth Jacoby can properly settle in her new position in Berlin, the single mother is in the middle of her first case. A diabetic fell faint and fell to her death. Ruth Jacoby remains suspicious and is right: The victim died of an overdose of insulin. The somewhat unauthorized investigation leads to a clinic, in which Ruth comes across more dubious deaths, and the insulin injection turns out to be the famous sting in the wasp's nest...
