Grégory Beauville is a béké, known as guava from Martinique, a historical descendant of settlers but without fortune who, since the death of his mother, has lived alone with his father. Annoyed by his situation and by Maxime's marginal behavior since this death, Tristan longs for change. Until Thursday, February 5, 2009, even as a general strike begins on the island.
