In South Tyrol, where tradition and innovation go hand in hand, six years ago Lorenz and Leander decided to undertake a new business: cultivating and marketing aromatic herbs. At the same time Alexander, with his family, lives off the cheeses produced by just twelve cows, while Katya and Armin produce artisan chocolate and Maria has been running the restaurant belonging to her family since 1800. Between enthusiasm and difficulty, minimum objectives and very high ambitions , these small producers tell their daily challenges in a food market dominated by large retailers. A complex image that hides behind realities usually described as the flagship of Italian gastronomy and an example of a sustainable and successful production model.
