The diary written by soldier Salvatore Cuccia during the war and told by his nephew in a film one hundred years later. The documentary tells from a private point of view a decisive event such as the First World War. There is no lack of surprising elements such as the detailed chronicle of Gabriele D'Annunzio's entry into Fiume, accompanied by images shot on 12 September 1919.
