A shady pill dealer, Justin Case, arrives in a small village after a free meal. This time the food is Grandma's mushroom soup, with an extra ingredient slipped into it. The mushroom soup infects its drinkers with a virus that turns the bearer into a zombie. Justin, narrowly avoiding the soup, runs away from the scene. Justin manages to run into a handful of other survivors, and together a mixed group of people try to survive this strange situation.
