Marie was a literature teacher in a provincial high school. For the time being with her psychoanalyst, she is trying to take stock of herself, after three successive ruptures which have finished breaking her morally. Marie thinks first of her ex-husband, Charles, then of Olivier, whom she loved passionately, despite the differences that separated them: age, education, background, desires.
