Originally released as a four-part miniseries and later edited into a two-part film, “Jesus of Nazareth,” directed by Franco Zeffirelli, presents one of the most faithful and reverent portrayals of the life of Jesus Christ in cinema. Based on the accounts of the Gospels, the film follows the story from the birth of Jesus to His crucifixion and resurrection, portraying His divine mission to teach, to save, and to reveal God’s love to humanity. With great historical and spiritual richness, the work invites the viewer to contemplate the life, teachings, and sacrifice of Jesus of Nazareth, the Lord and Savior.
