Opis filmu
Opis oryginalny: francuski
A young French man comes to Chile to help his mother take care of the farm they own here. He meets a young peasant girl and falls in love with her, pretending to make her her wife. The mother sees this as a threat to the dignity and tradition of her home and brings a young ex-girlfriend of her son to the farm and drives the girl away. The young man falls in love with her again and makes her her wife, both of them leaving for the city. The mother dies harassed by the pain of being separated from her son. The girl mysteriously disappears after having repeatedly rejected the marriage offer made to her by a tenant who picked her up on her orphan days.
