Les hommes de la nuit
Opis filmu
Opis oryginalny: francuski
Armed with binoculars and a notebook, an explorer traverses the jungle of Borneo. He moves at dusk and at nightfall in search of orangutans. He contemplates them, studies them, draws them. During the search for him, two stories are evoked: a fable taken from the System of Nature by Carl Linnaeus and the testimony of the keeper of the Ménagerie of the Jardin des Plantes. A dreamlike and fascinating meditation on the strange symbiotic relationship that has developed over the centuries between men and primates.
