In northern Sweden, the weeks leading up to Christmas are a special time for people: Outside, temperatures drop to minus 20 degrees and the snow is more than a meter thick. Then the inhabitants of the highlands prepare for Christmas. Many traditions are preserved. Because of the winter cold, people love it to be particularly warm, cozy and homely inside.
