Professor Liberius has made a name for himself as a sex researcher and, with his popular science books and writings, has helped many of his readers on matters of love happiness. The core problem in Germany in the Adenauer era seems to be the alienation between the married couple, where the husband earns the money and the lady of the house has to deal with raising children and cooking at home. The husband is a busy man who takes his job very seriously. But his wife feels neglected and questions her marriage and her idea of love!
