In the streets of Athens, Eric Cantona goes to meet people hit by the recession, talk to them, listen to them. He goes to the symbolic places of this crisis such as this garden in Syntagma Square where a 77-year-old man committed suicide because his retirement, reduced by iniquitous government decisions, no longer allowed him to live with dignity. There, Cantona will read the man’s farewell letter Like a shadow cast in the streets of Athens, his tall figure will endlessly remind us of the absurdity of the financial drift that has plagued the recklessness of the Greeks. Whichever way you call it, the match between Olympiakos Piraeus and Panathinaikos of Athens is like Greece ... country since 2008.
