The pillars is a family home, and also a portrait of the passage of time in a place and in a life, contained in the personal recordings of Antonio García Zarandieta between 1971 and 2018. Around the pool we know each tree, each grandchild that is born , each family celebration, which Antonio meticulously films, adding a live narration. It stops at the lyric of domestic life, while, through the past, it investigates a current theme: how what surrounds us is affected by the constant recording, what it means to live each event through the mediation of a device.
