Moving In Place
Opis filmu
Opis oryginalny: angielski
Following Hurricane María in 2017, decades of financial crisis, and over a century as a U.S. colony, many Puerto Ricans are leaving the island in search of new prospects in the States. Migration projections for the coming years are startlingly high, and many of those joining the diaspora are young, educated, and skilled, taking their talents and potential with them. Moving In Place features Puerto Ricans in their 20s and 30s as they unpack the complexities of Puerto Rican identity, loyalty, and the decision of whether to stay or leave.
