Petre Ignatencu, a performance canoeist and taxi driver in the 1960s, fervently believes that the collapse of communism in December 1989 was a huge mistake in history. In a present that he considers troubled and decadent, he hopes to revive the spirit of the Party and assumes the position of leader and rightful successor of socialist ideology.
