A journey through the lobbies of the "material of the century", the interests of large companies, environmental destruction. An economic system that promotes the deception of greenwashing and in which the waste culture is in force, with 396 million tons of virgin plastic produced on a global scale every year and a profit of 840 billion euros only in the European market and its related industries. From the institutional corridors of Brussels, where the regulatory battles are increasingly heated, we arrive in Italy on the plastic beach of Castel Volturno and on those lands damaged by pollution, captured for years in the shots of the Campania photographer Giovanni Izzo, who dedicates his life to fight environmental and human degradation through the art of his works
