From a young age, Luiz Henrique Fitarelli started to collect objects related to Italian immigration. Grandson of Italians and passionate about history, he gradually started to buy abandoned houses as well. With them, he built a typical village from the end of the 19th century, which became an open-air museum. The documentary follows Fitarelli's trip to Italy to find his origins and discusses the preservation of memories.
