A documentary short examining the production chain of ornamental rocks from the perspective of an alien consciousness, which understands matter as information. Navigating across trade fairs, harbors, and marble quarries in Southeast Brazil, the work traces connections between everyday labor, the global commodities market, interior design trends, and the deep time of Earth. Across its multiple lives, the rock oscillates between sensual object and symbolic substance - between industry and language.
