Twenty years ago, Kazuya Hiraide, three-time winner of the Piolets d'Or thanks to the conquest of the new routes of Kamet, Shispare and Rakaposhi, discovered a perfect route on the north face of Tirich Mir (7708 m). In 2022, Hiraide asks Kenro Nakajima, his climbing partner since 2016, to tackle it together. Nakajima is younger and less experienced than Hiraide, but Hiraide trusts him. No one has ever climbed this route before, and the two climbers have absolutely no idea of the dangers they will face.
