Schläge, Schüsse, Tritte - Der gefährliche Alltag der Polizei

Opis filmu

Opis oryginalny: niemiecki

Whether patrols, arrests, house searches or deployment at demonstrations: the daily deployment of police officers has never been easy. But in recent years the situation has worsened. Police officers are exposed to danger much more often. Almost all officers who work outside now experience insults and physical attacks on the street. Filmmaker Edgar Verheyen and producer Andreas Schlosser analyze particularly serious incidents such as the police murder near Kusel and attacks in Stuttgart and Andernach. They accompany officers on duty and talk to police officers who are traumatized as a result of a firearm use even years later. Or they were seriously injured during operations and their lives were thrown into disarray as a result of the brutal events. How are the police dealing with the increased willingness to use violence? What are the causes of the increasing violence?
