The protagonist -- the artist herself -- is living in rented accommodation. In black-and-white photos we see her entering the building, looking out the window, carefully cleaning the hall and thoroughly scrubbing the kitchen. Messages have been assigned to the scenes, which the landlords have left on the answering machine: they are about providing dishes, shutting doors, possible damage to the electric wiring. Apprehension and distrust are expressed, resulting in repeated instructions to the tenant: she should shut the bathroom door and, in addition, have a second key made for it.
