Opis oryginalny: chiński
This Shore: A Family Story (2020) is an experimental documentary that opens with the director's family story: his American aunt found a painting of his grandmother by chance. By tracing this story and reproducing its meaning, the film wanders through different topics - Cold War constructs, different generations of diasporas and fluidity, family romances and ghost stories....Then the "real" histories gradually reform into another tale of The Flying Dutchman.
