In 1936, at the start of the Popular Front. Among the Ancelots, the mother and her four children are sought after by a delirious snobbery that changes their vocabulary. Among the Lasquin, industrialists, the daughter Christine has just married Pierre Lenoir who puts his passion for running above all else. Protected by Johnny, a friend of the Ancelot family, the young boxer Milou made his entry into this bourgeois environment. On the advice of his protector, he changed his path and intended for a literary career.
