A boat sails on the ocean, heckled by the swell. On board, around forty people brave the storm. These members of the Center Terre association travel to the borders of Patagonia - "the world at the end of the world" -, to the Chilean island of Madre de Dios. This territory 40 kilometers long by 25 wide, battered by the howling fiftieth winds and plunged in the rain for three hundred days a year, was only formally explored for the first time in 2010. On the island, marble glaciers, caves the size of cathedrals and a primary forest worthy of a sci-fi setting await scientists.
