Verdi: Rigoletto
Opis filmu
Opis oryginalny: włoski
Rigoletto was composed by Verdi to honor a contract signed in April 1850 with the Teatro La Fenice in Venice. It was the composer himself who identified the subject and proposed to La Fenice's librettist, Francesco Maria Piave, to adapt Le roi s'amuse by Victor Hugo, the five-act drama that had caused such a stir in Paris in 1832.
